Wow, so I have been dealing with this cold I spent an entire week avoiding. At first when my sister came to visit she started coughing and sniffling. Of course she stated it was just an allergy. Within a day or two everyone else in the house was sick, excluding myself. The entire week went by where I was't catching it and trying not to catch it by keeping things clean and taking elderberry syrup, which may be why I caught it because sick people made it. I had successfully kept from getting sick until the day my sister left. That's when it hit me and now I am quite agonized from the irritation this cold is inflicting upon my sinuses.
It's rather interesting that we almost never get sick in this house unless, say, dad gets sick from work because he doesn't seem to try not giving it to us. Yeah, he comes home and coughs all over everything instead of covering his mouth like a courteous person would do. It also doesn't help that he doesn't wash his hands after using the restroom either. The only other times we happen to have such illnesses attack us is when we go to Ohio and stay at grandma's house or grandma(in this case Lauren, since she lives with grandma)comes to visit us. Keep your germs to yourself, sheesh!
In other news, I received my new glasses that Jim so generously offered to buy for me since he works at an optometry shop. Thank you very much, sir Jim Jim. I shall be sending out the prints you wanted when I can, which will hopefully be when I'm not sick. :(
My little sister finds our neighbor really attractive and pleasing to look at. She tends to find men who are slightly chunky, with big backs, beards, and cute, twinkly eyes appealing. In other words, she likes cute bear-ish rednecks. In a way I guess you could say the men she finds attractive are like even cuter versions of myself, which is kinda weird, but more power to her I suppose. :)
