HOT HOT HOT
It has been amazingly warm this week and it seems to just be getting warmer every day. Around a month ago the weather was still in the lower sixties, but now it's a whopping ninety-nine to one hundred and two degrees on a daily basis. Just today the heat index reached one hundred and seven degrees; strangely enough it felt nice outside--to me at least. The main reason I am complaining about this weather is that my car has no air conditioning since it's a convertible to begin with and because of that I rarely even have the opportunity to drive it. Sure, mom lets me drive her car, but it's not as if I am going to be able to go to work if I have to take her car all the time.

Speaking of work I have not been able to go job searching at all due to the situation stated above. The only positive thing I have done job wise is given an application in to a health food store I go to which I should go back to later to ask about my application according to what mom said. For some reason I've always thought that seemed almost rude, but I guess if you really want a job you have to take some initiative. When you think about what I just said and then take a look at the massive stores with their massive amounts of turn over it just seems like a preposterous idea. Ah, but that's why I am looking for a smaller store to work in. No more high level businesses for me; not since my last job which was full of illogical management and overstressed employees who were underpaid(myself included)and forced to cater to every customer's questions and ideas, no matter how stupid it seemed, because we were the employees under a giant company who could care less about us other than if we were walking around mindlessly looking like we were working even when there was nothing to do. You know, this makes me glad I didn't have to work around on the rest of the sales floor at Michael's Arts and Crafts.

Griping about heat and past jobs aside, I have had a fairly good week. Eric sent me a birthday present last week which was really neat because I only asked for a copy of the Last Blade soundtrack he had acquired, but to my surprise a mini PS2 slim tin containing a $15 Gamestop giftcard was inside! Whoo, thanks, Eric! Using this giftcard I went to the Gamestop nearby to buy, at Eric's suggestion, the SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1 disc which came out recently. For the most part the disc is a lot of fun. It certainly doesn't beat using an emulator to play the games, but what do you expect from poor American programming and $20? Being able to play Samurai Showdown on the TV once again brought back a lot of memories and nostalgia from the first time I played it when I was younger. Of course that was the SNES port of the game, but I did get to play the actual MVS version of it a couple years later. Actually, this will sound really weird, but the game I have had the most fun playing on the disc I bought is Neo Turf Masters. I don't even like golf, yet for some reason that game is addictive, brilliant, and fun! Why is selecting a club, adjusting your stance, testing the wind speed, and then swinging with all hope that it will land where you want fun? I DON'T KNOW, but it's fun, and I like it.

I really have little to nothing else to say now so I will end this with some recent artwork I made since I assume some of you enjoy it. =)

Welcome! ... To where I have no idea.

Walter Matthau in his younger years!

Yay, fishing. I haven't gone fishing in years. =(

This is one of two pictures I'm making for Eric since he always sends me stuff and I really have no idea or way to pay him back other than make artwork. He really likes Ken Masters from Street Fighter.
